We can install root barriers on building sites and around existing structures to protect them from the damage adventitious roots can cause, whether as a pro-active measure, or where specified by an building engineer.
Each situation needs to be asessed on its merits with respect to the species being retained, its size and likely scope of its root zone, permit requirements, and the nature of the site.
Where a tree, particularly a prized ornamental, has structural problems, we can supply and install industry standard bracing systems and other hardware as appropriate, to help prevent a major failure, and extend the useful life of the tree. This sort of work is inappropriate in some circumstances and the likely efficacy of such a remedy would need careful assessment.
