A basic tenet of modern arboriculture is that you cannot prune a big tree into a small healthy one. Total foliage loss in a mature tree should ideally be less than 20% – pruning is generally an exercise in containment.

Although we would always rather prune, when necessary Greenscene can take on any removal task  from straightforward felling to a careful dismantle around or over structure and gardens.

We can install root barriers on building sites and around existing structures to protect them from the damage adventitious roots can cause, whether as a pro-active measure, or where specified by an building engineer.
